The largest energy storage project in the Southern Hemisphere! Rui Pu Lanjun joins hands with Waratah Super Battery Site
On October 29, 2024, Chairman REPT BATTERO and the general manager of the American subsidiary visited the Waratah Super Battery Site in Australia. REPT BATTERO is the core battery supplier of the project.
The visit was led by the developer Akaysha team and was attended by Cao Hui, chairman of REPT BATTERO, and Hong Jia, general manager of REPT BATTERO's American subsidiary.
The Waratah Super Battery Site is not only the largest battery project in the southern hemisphere, but also one of the most powerful battery projects in the world. The battery energy storage system is located about 100km north of Sydney and is designed to improve the reliability of the power grid in New South Wales, Australia, and ensure the stability of the grid during the state's transition from coal-fired power generation to clean energy.
It is reported that the project covers an area of 138,000m², with a project design of 850MW/1680MWh, of which REPT BATTERO supplied more than 70% of the batteries. The project is currently in the debugging stage.
